6 - Minute RV InstaPot Spaghetti Ingredients
Meat base
5 lb ground turkey 93/7 or ground beef 90/10
2 cups chopped onion (I buy frozen chopped onions, it reduces lingering raw onion 🤢smell in tiny kitchen)
1 Tbs Minced garlic
1 pkg Turkey Pepperoni, chopped, optional
1 large can mushrooms, optional
Sauce
3 cans diced tomatoes
2 cans tomato paste
Italian seasonings to taste: basil, parsley, bay leaf, salt, pepper, red pepper flake,
OR
Skip the sauce making and substitute with 2 large 24 oz Hunt’s canned spaghetti sauce (I choose cans, less breakable).
Pasta
1 lb dry spaghetti pasta
Instructions
Brown together, on sauté high setting, ground meat, chopped onion, garlic, and pepperoni. Drain. Stir in mushrooms.
Stir in the following and simmer on sauté low 30 minutes diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and seasonings OR prepared spaghetti sauce.
Stir in 1/2 cup water.
Break pasta in half and lay in pot on top of meat and sauce.
Pour 1 1/2 cups of water over it. Cook using pressure cook setting at 6 minutes.
Once beeps done, let stand 10 minutes, release steam pressure (cover steam spout with towel to help control splatter and humidity), open, stir, serve, cool, and store.
